Homage to the style of Independent Mexico at the end of the 19th century, when women of all walks of life wore a cotton or wool skirt, a fine blouse trimmed in lace, and a silk or cotton shawl, all embellished with
reliquaries, silver rings and obligatory hoop earrings.
These pieces are a fusion of the fashion of the time and the art of filigree in traditional Mexican silver; together calling to mind hand-made lace in cotton or fine linen or silk.
